A Controlled Exploration into: Answer Sheet

Taking my inspiration from Google search results of â??Answer Sheetâ?? I pieced together this banal looking form to be filled in by the participants of my event / investigation. My original aim was to make it look so bland that any participant would overlook it and not consider it in conjunction with the presented object; but this is impossible and has been something I have since come to accept, because everything communicates something. I wanted to make sure that the answer sheet would cater for all varieties of participants, whilst giving me insight into the character of the zed participant. I ask for the sex of the partaker, as I feel this could in some way differ in results to those of the opposite sex. However, I had to ensure that there was an â??otherâ?? option in the rare chance that there were participants excluded from these options. I have implied through the use of the colour that the boxes printed in grey are not areas for the participant to fill in. The box marked with an â??Xâ?? is for the signature of the partaker if they consent to being filmed. I deliberately left the answer space blank (as opposed to lines) to imply no restrictions on the exploratory results the participants gather from the object they must analyse. This could be space for me to study with semiotics.
